WHAT IS A DIGITAL FAST?

Break Free from Digital Disctraction: Find Clarity and Connection in 28 Days.

A fast is an intentional period of time when we give something up. In this case, we’re giving up our devices so we can loosen the grip they have on our attention. You can also think about this journey as a “detox.” Over 28 days, you’ll detox from the negative effects screens have on our heart, mind, body, and soul. You’ll unplug from the urge to turn to your phone at the slightest hint of boredom. You’ll reorient to the people and pursuits that matter.

The Digital Fast Podcast.

Watch (or rewatch) as our Colonial team and friends share their Digital Fast experience and offer insights on how to incorporate a healthier digital rhythm into your family life.  Check out the video.

Ash Wednesday

February 14

SKC | 8:15AM & 12:00PM

OP | 6:45AM & 8:15AM

Ash Wednesday holds significant importance in the Christian faith. It serves as a reminder for believers to acknowledge their sins and recognize their need for God. "The imposition of ashes" is a symbolic act that involves the marking of a cross on the forehead with ashes, representing repentance and grief for one's sins. Coming together as a church family on Ash Wednesday allows believers to collectively embark on a spiritual journey towards the cross. All are welcome and plan to attend an early morning service with your kids before preschool, school drop off, or heading to work.

GOOD FRIDAY: A service of shadows

Tenebrae Service

SKC | March 29, 7:00 PM

Through compelling works of art and inspirational songs and hymns of our faith, we’ll walk that lonely road to calvary and remember the love and sacrifice that has been given to all of us. Childcare and activities provided for kids through kindergarten age.
