LEGACY GIVING AND PLANNING

Estate Planning Workshop

Colonial is hosting this FREE community event. Having a will or an estate plan in place provides a sense of peace knowing that your loved ones will not have to struggle with financial decisions in addition to mourning your loss. It might not seem like a pleasant task to discuss what will happen with your assets after you die but your loved ones will be grateful that you took the time to put a plan into place. This 90 min. workshop will provide information about wills, trusts, legacy giving and other key elements of a comprehensive estate plan. Members of Colonial who are professionals in this area will lead the workshop. The workshop is FREE, but please take a moment to register to ensure we have enough materials and refreshments for everyone!

RESTORE Campaign.

As you can imagine, over time our church facilities experience natural wear, tear, and aging. Our hope and desire is to be a Church that proclaims Jesus and Restores hearts, with physical spaces that are safe, warm and welcoming to our friends, neighbors, and church family.

Colonial’s Session, pastors, and staff have prayerfully discerned that it is time to Restore many of our spaces. Acts 15:12-18 includes “...After this I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it, that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who bear my name...” We have identified a number of opportunities for renovation, restoration, and upgrades to enhance the overall Sunday morning experience, strengthen our ministries, and update our décor, safety, and security.

The Restore Capital Campaign launched in 2024 (which will run through May 2026), to help address these needs. As you'll see from the update below, we've made great progress in raising and investing funds toward our goal.
